![]() I have to admit–after I gave in and let those Ferengi sit on my desktop, I stopped even seeing them after a few months.Īnytime I have something in front of me for too long, I stop even seeing it on my computer. The first month is a beautiful scene of Expedition Everest, and I can’t wait to see the photo next month for the holidays! With a new email each month, I’m able to keep my desktop fresh. Photo by Rain Blanken And Now I Can Keep it Fresh I just need to brace myself, look the Ferengi in the eye, then switch back to this month’s beautiful photo from WDW Magazine. No matter what device I’m on, I won’t have to worry about my son’s diligent efforts to startle me with ugly Star Trek aliens. They are specially sized to fit on Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Android displays. And now I have the WDW Magazine Calendar and the 16 wallpaper freebies that come with it!Įvery month, I get an email from WDW Magazine with a gorgeous photo taken by one of their talented photographers. Needless to say, I really need something new to look at on my computer. I’ve spent years being haunted by these Ferengi. I wish I had a montage of the many times I turned on my monitor, opened a laptop, or minimized a window and screamed at the sight of their sneering faces. Last year I finally got a large monitor after years of using a little laptop: The Ferengi popped up on the big screen, immediately defiling my new purchase. I was also unaware that my Windows account would set all of my desktops the same way. I’m too forgetful to lock my computer every time I walk away from it at home, and my son is always waiting in the shadows to redownload the pic, set it to the desktop, and watch me scream when I open my laptop or minimize windows. This has been my life for the past four years. They startled me pretty good, and my reaction must have been great–he hasn’t stopped putting them on there since.
